Around forty women from the parish actively participated in the celebration, which included a special Holy Mass and a felicitation program.

The Holy Mass was made particularly meaningful with thoughtful symbolic gestures. The entrance procession commenced with women carrying vibrant flowers, followed by a reverent Bible procession. During the offertory, offerings were brought forth with devotion, and an 'arti' was offered after the doxology, adding a traditional touch to the service.

Sr. Jaya Peter CMC offered practical and useful tips for women to navigate and succeed in their family lives, drawing from her experience and wisdom.

The vote of thanks was eloquently proposed by Mrs. Rajani, the new president of the Parish Mahila Samaj expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the celebration.

Finally, the event culminated in a heartwarming agape, a 'langar' organized in honour of the women. This communal meal fostered a

sense of fellowship and celebration, with everyone sharing in the joy of the occasion.

Overall, the Parish celebration of International Women's Day at Kristu Jyoti Church, Samba, was a resounding success.
